Multi Mine 1.5.2 Mod now has updated and compatible with latest minecraft 1.5.2/1.6. This mod enhances mining in minecraft so that partially damaged blocks will stay damaged even after the player leaves. This is perfect for those times when you are mining in a dangerous tunnel and a hostile mob comes and interrupts your mining. This mod is a really simple mod and it has a feature which notch said he was implementing into the game.
There is an automatically generating config file, to be found at minecraft/mods/MultiMine.txt. Inside, you can set how many blocks are supposed to be damageable at the same time, and the rate at which damagedblocks regenerate. You can also set your mining speed ratio in the config file. (default 1.0 = 100%). BlockDamage is limited to 30 Blocks at a time across the server. It is not saved, it does not interfere with your savegames.
